Red Crab with Garlic Butter Sauce

As the warm breeze ushers in the long-awaited days of summer, there's no better way to embrace the season than with the delectable taste of Atlantic Red Crab! Bursting with sweet and succulent flavors, this prized seafood delicacy brings a touch of coastal indulgence to any summer gathering.

Below we provide our own twist on the classic Red Crab with Garlic Butter Sauce


  • 1 pound fresh red crab meat

  • 4 tablespoons butter

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

  • 1/4 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Lemon wedges for serving


Prepare the Crab Meat:

  • Pick through the crab meat to remove any shells or cartilage.

Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:

  • In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.

  • Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.

  • Stir in the chopped parsley, Old Bay and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Cook the Crab:

  • Add the crab meat to the skillet with the garlic butter sauce.

  • Gently toss the crab meat in the sauce until heated through, about 2-3 minutes. Be careful not to overcook the crab meat.


  • Transfer the red crab with garlic butter sauce to a serving platter.

  • Garnish with additional chopped parsley if desired.

  • Serve hot with lemon wedges on the side.
